┤ ⎠SOUND ⎠ PERFORMANCE ⎾
☛ CIRCA art actuel – Space # 444 – Open until midnight
☛ Preston Beebe performance @ 8 pm / duration 30 min
As part of Nuit blanche and our current exhibitions, CIRCA art actuel invites you to the sound performance “Living Systems” by artist Preston Beebe.
“Thanks to a feedback loop system, Preston Beebe creates a soundscape combining percussion, found objects, harmonium and transducers. In the physical world, both living and non-living phenomena are receivers, storehouses and transformers of energy. Living Systems is such an occurrence; an atmosphere of light and sound that is controlled and transformed by the environment energy creates, and the viewer’s gravity holds it in place at its centre. ”
Our space will be especially open until midnight, and will offer mediation on its current exhibitions:
